I have been shooting boudoir for years. When talking with people about their upcoming sessions, I get asked tons of great questions! To make it a little easier for everyone, I have created a list to help you all out with the most frequently asked ones! Don’t see you question listed? Do you share my images?
Only if you give us permission to do so! Our first priority is always going to be focused on safety and consent. That includes sharing your images! For some people, they are in the beginning stages of learning to love themselves, and are not quite ready to share with the world yet! For others, they are seeking these intimate images for themselves or a partner, and want to keep them private! Some people have jobs that are very public positions and desire to not share their images because of it! You never have to have a “why” when it comes to not sharing images. Your decision will always be supported!
That said, we REALLY love sharing the beautiful art we create with so many of our clients! If you are a person who doesn’t mind signing a model release, we would LOVE if you would! Whether you realize it or not, many of our clients choose to come to us because of the images we have previously shared of past clients, and their stories! Seeing people with different body types, different skin types, of different sexualities or genders helps other people feel that this may be a safe and supportive space for them too!
Do I have to wear lingerie?
NOPE! Not everyone wears lingerie! Some people wear t-shirts, jeans, dresses, oversized sweaters, robes, crop tops, etc. Annnnd some people wear less, even going completely bare! The point of this session is to capture you the way you feel confident and the way you want to be seen and see yourself!
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! We believe that everyone should be able to experience a boudoir session, so we love having this option available to our clients! We offer payment plans that best fit your budget to be able to create your dream experience! We offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment plans! Some people begin them as far as 12 months before their session to make it easy for them to plan and budget for their session!
Where should I buy outfits?
We do provide our clients with the option to use items from our massive client closet! So, you do not have to purchase outfits for your session! However, many of our clients still love to purchase pieces they will love for their session and be able to utilize going forward for their own collection! Here is a small sample list of some of our favorite places to purchase from!
How many outfits should I bring?
If you are wanting to bring your own outfits in addition to the client closet or to use your own outfits exclusively, we suggest bringing your favorite 4-6 outfits! Typically, our clients will use between 3-4 outfits, this gives us a few to act as a buffer or to have if we have extra outfit changes!
Is hair and makeup included?
We offer two different options for your experience! Either our full boudoir session which does include professional hair and makeup! You can also choose a mini session experience which does not include hair and makeup, but it may be added on to your experience!
Do you edit or photoshop my images?
I always edit images for exposure and color correction. Any edits beyond this are done on a client per client basis. Most of our clients opt for some light skin smoothing or “untwisting” of any lingerie straps and other light edits. However, we also have some clients who like to have more editing done to liken them to a magazine edit, others choose no additional editing at all! We always want to support and respect each of our clients decisions regarding any editing to be completed.
What kind of printed products are available?
Most of our clients love to choose from our aviary of luxurious albums, folio boxes, and especially our metal wall art! Our clients love being able to have art for your to touch and feel and hold, that is YOU! Having a beautiful album to flip through or wall art to remind you of your QUEEN status everyday is amazing!!!
Do you offer digitals?
All of our packages include some sort of print product, but there is also an A La Carte list that can choose from as well! On this list we have an option to add on digital images! We do offer an all-inclusive digital package as well! These images come on a USB for you place in safe keeping!
I am soooo nervous! How can I feel less nervous?
I think nerves are soooo normal! It is rare that a client will tell me they weren’t nervous! I have had clients who occasionally needed an extra phone call for reassurance prior to their session, which I am always happy to do! I want you to feel as comfortable and supported as possible coming in to the studios! After arriving and chatting, and then seeing their images the nerves seem to melt away and the confidence takes over! Just know we are here to support you all the way through babe!
Do you take male clients?
YES! I believe all humans deserve to be seen, to feel empowered and confident. This includes men.
Do you offer sessions that are LGBTQ friendly?
Yes. Our space is not only LGBTQ friendly, it is queer-owned. I am a lesbian. I am happy to support and provide a space to anyone from the community to be photographed and seen the way they desire to be seen and see themselves!
Do you offer “extra spicy” sessions?
YUP! We are a kink and erotica friendly studio, as well! To chat about the spicier side of things we plan a zoom consultation with any client seeking this type of photography to get started!
This helps us to provide clients a time to discuss in depth what you are looking for for your session!
What time should I arrive for my session?
Our arrival times may vary between 730 am and 10 am depending on what we are doing for your session! We vary due to our clients availability, as well as what
we are planning for your experience!

Our Classic Studio is located on the 5th floor, which is a locked floor, so we always ask you to call us when you arrive! Our Ravens Lair Studio, The Cage Studio and more are located in our main space on the third floor of the same building!
